Charlotte, Gunther and her friends at the Midway Circus are back! Charlotte is approached with an idea to move the Midway to a bear shifter jamboree. Charlotte and her Uncle think that it's a good idea to go and meet these other paranormals and get to know them. Little do they know that this little excursion is planned and that someone is going to take advantage and strike down another. Charlotte looks like the perfect scapegoat, being the less than perfect ringmaster that she is. Now, she is in a battle against time to find out who really committed this heinous act before the new bear leader takes over and declares her the culprit. Tick tock Charlotte! Unbearable Magic by Leanne Leeds is book four in her paranormal cozy mystery series. This story picks up right where the first book leaves off. Charlotte is still working on her magical abilities and fighting her feelings toward Gunther. Besides, they can't be together, right? She's the ringmaster of the Midway and he's the future ringmaster of the Makepeace. But trouble is brewing. Individuals who have never spent time together are suddenly doing so. Gunther's jealousy rears it's head when the elf, Bolt decides to use his natural abilities to charm Charlotte. But there is more than meets the eye as to what is going! The story is engaging from start to finish! This book is a real page-turner as you read to learn what is going on and why. There is nothing I don't like about this book. If I had to say anything I'd have to say that Gunther's jealousy gets annoying because he acts like Charlotte is incompetent when it comes to being a peacekeeper. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next in this series. If you have not read these books I highly recommend that you start reading! Just prepare yourself for these bears! They are really something else compared to most in the paranormal community! 4 Stars... When the leader of the Werebears is murdered, Charlotte and company must uncover truths and a twisted conspiracy leading directly to a corrupt governing body... Not to mention, they must clear Charlotte's name... Nothing is at it seems and everyone is a suspect... In addition to all the chaos, Charlotte must face a personal prophecy and continue to manage her powers as the Ringmaster... With a diverse cast of characters, Leanne Leeds brings to life a comical yet intriguing mystery that keeps you guessing until the very end... A truly enjoyable series that brings to life all elements of the paranormal realm:)
Ringmaster Charlotte is more than pleased to take a small vacation away from Witches’ Council attacks by taking part in a Werebear Jamboree. However, before the first day is through the leader of the werebears is found murdered and everything and everyone is pointing in Charlotte’s direction. Now she has 3 days to figure out whodunit before she is put in front of the Witches’ Council for murder and a new leader of the werebears is sworn in.
This is the third book in the series and personally feel you should read books 1 and 2 to understand the history of the main character and learn about all the mythical and paranormal creatures that are encountered. There is a lot going on in this book besides the mystery and each book in the series adds to the journey that Charlotte is going through in her new role as ringmaster.
What I like most about this book is the lead character Charlotte. She is headstrong, a little rebellious, and very new to the ways of being a witch. The supporting cast of quirky & colorful characters includes witches, werebears, elves, Cyclops, and norms to name a few. The story is whimsy and delightful to read like a paranormal cozy mystery should be.

I really enjoy a good and relaxing story and Charlotte's experiences moving from a normal human to being an untrained witch and Ringmaster of a magical circus full of paranormals definitely fits the bill.
Charlotte is still learning how to be a Circus Ringmaster and understanding all the intricacies of the different paranormals, not to mention the interfering Witches Council.
At a suggestion from a circus member, Charlotte has moved the Circus to the Werebear annual jamboree. Unfortunately, she forgot to ensure a safe landing spot and landed on top of a forest. After relocating and removing trees, the Werebear clan leader is found impaled by a tree and Charlotte is accused of murder. They have three days to prove her innocence before she's turned over to the Witches Council for punishment.
There is lots of unrequited love, intrigue, deceit and of course, magic. Five stars for this nonstop fun mystery.
I'm looking forward to Charlotte's next misadventure in "Going For the Juggler"

Once again we join Charlotte and her cronies at the magical circus. Only this time too many situations hit her from all angles. First as they come to the werebear festival, the clan leader is found dead. Charlotte is picked as the murderer. This makes it difficult from the first for her and Gunther to even try to get info out of the clan to find the real culprit. Then a prophecy from when Gunther was a young child comes to light which really throws a wrench into her relationship with Gunther. Charlotte is at her wits end and suffers a melt down that makes things a little difficult for all. Then to top it all off the norn makes another appearance along with another witch that scares Charlotte. All tied up into this is the darn Witches Council. From page one to the last page your attention will caught and your mind will be blown around like a leaf on the wind as you follow the convoluted meanderings of so many twists and turns that this story leads you. Fantastic story and read.

After the first book I was a bit unsure whether or not I really enjoyed the book, as often is with book series the first one can be hit or miss, so now I’ve just finished the 3rd book, and am really enjoying the magical midway. I like the main characters progression how Charlotte and Gunthers relationship is progressing and the friendships Charlotte is making within the circus. The books are interesting and a bit different to other paranormal murder/mysteries. Start at book 1 to understand the dynamics and the background of Charlotte, and how she became the ringmaster. If you have kindle unlimited it’s great as these books are all available to borrow, honestly, I would have missed a great series as I wouldn’t have paid for them initially due to my kindle subscription.
Charlotte and the Magic Midway plan to visit a Jamboree in Bear Shifter Territory. Everyone dreams of a good time, but the first thing they see when they arrive is the murdered head of all bears. Accusations fly, and as she just arrived, Charlotte is one of the main suspects. Unlikely friends and enemies pop up. Talk about The Prophecy continues. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The story can be read alone, but one would miss out a lot. The larger plot, now over 3 books, thickens and the reader, together with Charlotte, starts to see the larger picture. I love the book, but as a series it is so much more. I cannot wait to read the next book.
This is the third book in this series that I've read send enjoyed each. Each book has a separate mystery that's solved that fits into the greater mysterious of the series. I see this series as a kind of analogy to possibly gods in mythology. The ringmasters can do anything with just a thought and focus but do have limitations and rules. In some ways the series is like corrupt politics that we are dealing with now in the USA. The author a quite imaginative and unique in her characters. The ending of the second book blew my mind. Totally outside the box of what you could imagine. I really have enjoyed this series so far and plan to read more.
what started out as a mostly light hearted anti species-ist story has developed into the setting for turning the witching and supernatural world as they understand it, completely turning that world on its head.
a bear jamboree sounds like a good opportunity for cutting across boundaries and building bridges
aside from the surplus of salmon, it seems instead to foment rebellion in so many ways.
what ens is there of hatred and longing and what future for Charlotte, Gunther and their families - as well as their circuses?
complications on the horizon - more than they have already faced.

This is a Funny and Quirky Magical Romance" The storyline is funny and exciting. The characters are adorable. Charlotte is a young sassy witch. She helps run one of the Magical Midway circuses. The circus has been invited to the Werebear event Jamboree festival. Charlotte has her hands full with the circus. While at the Jamboree she learns her best friend Gunther is in love with her. That and him a part of a prophecy. Charlotte gets accused of murder. Can Charlotte handle everything? Can her friends and family prove her innocence? You will love this super exciting, very funny and Sweet magical romance! It is a five star plus story.
This continuation of the Magical Midway series is thoroughly enjoyable. the focus this time is on were-bears and their annual jamboree. Things start to get exciting when a body is discovered in the woods, Then the Witches Council gets involved and things move from exciting to dangerous. I like the characters in this series, particularly Charlotte who is a witch, but grew up not really knowing anything about how to actually be a witch, so she is having to learn very quickly, although she does have her (dead) uncle and her cat to help her out.

Unbearable Magic (Magical Midway Paranormal Cozy Mysteries Book 3) was written by Leanne Leeds. Charlotte takes some advice and transports the Magical Midway to Werebear Jamboree. However, when she gets there, she lands in a bunch of trees. Luckily no one was hurt. Or so she thought. Turns out the leader of the werebears is killed, and everyone thinks that Charlotte was responsible. Charlotte has to prove her innocence or risk losing everything. Overall, this was another great novel in this series.
Charlotte and her Magical Midway take a week off to attend the Werebear jamboree and things don't go so well. The werebear leader is murder and of course Charlotte is the only suspect as far as the witches council is concerned! So many twists and turns to the very end. I just love this series, many of the characters are very likable but the bad ones are really bad and always out to get Charlotte.

The third book in the series and I want to read the next one, this is a well-written story that I enjoyed reading. This is about a murder of the leader of the Werebear Jamboree, Charlotte has three days to find out who really did it. I would say with this series to read the books in order. I truly love this series because we all want to join the circus and if we had magic to that would be icing on the cake. More hijinks ensue and that is what I love. Well written storyline and characters to boot.

She was looking forward to the break from the witches council. A weekday would be the idea relaxation but there is a murder and she is being framed for it. Can she find the truth? Will she be up in front of the council? See if she can get to the truth

There is enough of an ending not to aggregate me but it's leaves much to the next book. The rules if magic twist to create a mystery, I can't help thinking the all powerful witch should have fixed it all before lunch. Still the book's universe belongs to the author who can do as they please.
I love this series and can't wait to read the next book in the series. This latest book has shown that the main characters are still in need of being saved. It explains more of the prophecy and the long road ahead of them.

I'm enjoying this series about a young ringmaster & the paranormal circus she leads. The stories connect well, are interesting and appropriate for teens & adults. While you could read each as a stand alone, the stories are morw enjoyable read in order.
I love how intricate this storyline is becoming. The characters come alive even more in each new book. I do recommend you start from the beginning to really understand the storyline.
Charlotte is being targeted with accusations of the murder of Chase Trout. His brother Scout and the rest of the were bears believe that she is guilty. She has three days to prove her innocence.
Not my usual book but picked it up at a local book swap - enjoyable easy fantasy read with a favourite whodunnit twist. Only book in the series I have read.
